A National Summit on
Integrating Energy Efficiency & Smart Grid
Please check back for information about 2014 events.
This first-of-its-kind event was held October 15-16, 2013, to bring together the energy efficiency and smart grid communities. Attendees came from utilities, state and federal agencies, technology companies, performance contractors, service companies and many other stakeholder segments. Speakers included experts from the program, performance, technology and policy arenas who discussed the barriers and opportunities relative to integrating smart grid and energy efficiency – as well as demand response. The Summit was a place where speakers and the audience worked together and learned from each other, all with a goal of using efficiency and smart grid integration to expand opportunities for both energy users and those who provide technologies and services.
